EUmanage visits BouwBeurs Utrecht

Friday 10 February 2017, EU Manage paid a visit to the BouwBeurs, the biennial construction fair ‘Building Tomorrow’, at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The BouwBeurs, which took place from February 6 – 10, is known for ‘being the largest and most complete trade show for the building sector’. Over 600 exhibitors presented the visitors with outstanding innovations and the latest developments in construction techniques and materials. EUmanage was especially interested in new materials given its own AMHABuilt research project.

The Dutch AMHABuilt project was created in 2014 in order to develop a safe, sustainable and sensational solution to the worldwide housing problem due to all current emergency conditions on the planet. Up to date, sixteen specialists have dedicated their knowledge and skills to this project, which resulted in the revolutionary AMHABuilt prefab house concept: a prefab house which can be built by anyone in only three days.

At the BouwBeurs, EUmanage learned more about the latest high tech construction materials which can be used in the creation of sustainable prefab panels. EUmanage was very pleased to meet producers who are willing to assist us in the engineering challenges that occur in the AMHABuilt project. Presently, EUmanage is working on the completion of the research phase of this project and looking forward to connect with interested parties in order to fund the next step.
